Responsibilities include maintaining resident medical records, organizing supplies, inventory tracking, HIPAA compliance, and coordinating with nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in medical records, central supply, healthcare administration, or a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn facility software and electronic medical record systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and healthcare professionals.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
• Previous long‑term care/SNF experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize resident medical records per facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure medical records are accurate, complete, organized, and accessible.
• Assist with filing, scanning, copying, and maintaining medical documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and medical information.
• Monitor and maintain adequate levels of medical and nursing supplies.
• Receive, organize, and distribute supplies throughout the facility.
• Track inventory and communicate supply needs to appropriate departments.
• Assist with ordering supplies and maintaining inventory records.
• Check supplies for expiration dates and ensure items are properly stored.
• Work closely with nursing and other departments to ensure necessary supplies and documentation are available.
• Follow all applicable HIPAA, infection control, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
• Perform other administrative and departmental duties as assigned.
