Apploi is hiring a Central Supply & Medical Records Clerk to ensure smooth ordering and handling of supplies for a nursing home facility and timely turnaround of resident records.

You will oversee daily operations of the Medical Records Department, assist with abstracting, auditing, coding, and release of records, and collaborate with nursing, social work, and finance to ensure PPS compliance and unit profitability.

Qualificações

• Central Supply experience preferred.
• Previous LTC/SNF experience.
• Compassionate working with the geriatric population.
• Serious applicants encouraged to apply.

Responsabilidades

As the Central Supply & Medical Records Clerk, your primary focus will be to ensure the smooth running of ordering and handling supplies for the nursing home facility and along with assuring the timely turnaround for all resident records.

Central Supply & Medical Records Clerk responsibilities Include:

Oversees the daily operations of the Medical Records Department

Abstracting, analyzing, auditing, and coding of all medical records in a timely manner.

Oversees the release of medical record information, archiving/storage of medical records, and the transcription/dictation processing.

Collects and analyzes data for quality improvement.

Completes quarterly performance improvement reports in a timely manner.

Suggests changes to Medical Record policies and procedures.

Functions as a member on assigned committees.

Works closely with nursing, social work, and finance to ensure PPS compliance and unit profitability.

Looks to become highly involved in areas outside specific job fun
