Job summary

Harrison Healthcare Center, part of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is seeking a Central Supply Coordinator to join our team in Corydon, IN. The role focuses on maintaining adequate supply levels for nursing and administrative staff, coordinating ordering, stocking, and inventory, and collaborating with vendors to ensure par levels are met and budgets are followed.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• At least one year in long term care.
• Detail-oriented and organized; basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Make nursing schedules.
• Order and stock supplies; conduct weekly inventory to maintain par levels.
• Create a list of supplies needed and purchase materials to maintain inventory.
• Deal directly with vendors and manage budget.
• Prepare correspondences and claims concerning damaged merchandise and return to vendor as required.
• Attend scheduled training and orientation programs to maintain quality of care.
