Job summary

Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles is seeking an inventory control specialist to maintain par-level replenishment of medical and surgical supplies across clinical units. You will count inventory, enter data into the Materials Management system, and return items to correct locations.

Additionally, you will assemble case carts for procedures, keep par locations organized, and support efficient supply chain operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
At least 2 years inventory control experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct inventory counts and input data into the Materials Management system.
Put supplies away in proper inventory locations and maintain neat par-level stocking locations.
Assemble case carts according to case cart lists for clinical procedures.

Working under indirect supervision is responsible for multiple aspects of inventory control required to maintain an effective par-level replenishment process of medical and surgical supplies on clinical units/areas (clean utility rooms, medication rooms, nurse servers, and anesthesia workrooms). Conducts inventory counts, inputs inventory data into the Materials Management information system, puts supplies away in proper inventory locations and maintains neat and orderly par-level stocking locations. Dependent on location assembles case carts according to case cart list per clinical procedure.
