Job summary

Avante Group in Leesburg, FL is seeking a Central Supply Clerk (CNA) to provide supplies and equipment efficiently while adhering to all regulations. The role includes a 3-day central supply assignment and 2 days of CNA duties, with Avante offering daily pay and a supportive work environment.

Qualified candidates have a CNA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year in health care, preferably long-term care. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Minimum of one year experience in health care; long term care preferred.

Responsibilities

Avante at Leesburg Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Central Supply Clerk to provide supplies and equipment in an efficient manner, in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Full-Time Schedule will include 3 days of Central Supply and 2 days of CNA

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in the health care industry; long term care industry experience preferred.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
• Must be knowledgeable of supply practices, procedures, systems, and guidelines.
• Must possess the ability to minimize waste of supplies, misuse of equipment, etc.
• Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
• Be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Be knowledgeable in computers, data input/retrieval and output.
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
• Software knowledge - Outlook, Excel, Word etc.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.)

Education and Experience:

• Must possess, as a minimum, a High School Diploma or its equivalent. Associate’s degree preferred but not required.
• Must have, as a minimum, one (1) year of experience working in a health care facility or environment. Long Term Care industry experience preferred.

Background Screening Requirement:

This position requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
