Job summary
Qualifications
- Must have strong knowledge of medical terminology and supplies.
- Experience or familiarity with nursing facility inventory handling preferred.
- Active CNA certification is required in the state of practice.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the ordering of house stock with nursing and staff, and rotate daily inventory.
- Maintain purchasing and inventory records; ensure timely processing of invoices.
- Monitor supply usage patterns and conduct monthly inventory reconciliation.
- Assist with receiving, inspection, and storage of shipments; report discrepancies.
- Prepare reports on supply levels and utilization; support billing activities as needed.
- Maintain equipment and supplies at nurse stations and ensure safe storage.
