Job summary

Piedmont Cartersville is seeking a Central Sterile Technician to support instrument set assembly, decontamination, inspection and sterilization. You will prepare instrument sets and case carts for surgical cases, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery within the perioperative workflow.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CST preferred, or 3 years Central Sterile experience if CST is not obtained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of a Central Sterile Tech program is preferred.
• Alternatively, 3 years of Central Sterile experience if CST certificate is not obtained.

• Maintains standards for set assembly, decontamination, inspection, and sterilization of surgical instruments.
• Performs sterilization, assembly and storage of medical supplies and equipment.
