Responsibilities

• Cleans, inspects, assembles, packages, disinfects, and sterilizes all surgical instruments and supplies used in operating rooms, outpatient departments, emergency rooms, and delivery rooms.
• Documents and monitors all sterilization processes to ensure compliance with established standards.
• Receives, unpacks, shelves, and maintains inventory levels of sterile supplies.
• Retrieves, counts, disinfects, and assembles surgical trays using appropriate cleaning processes.
• Inspects instruments for cleanliness and functionality; follows repair procedures when needed.
• Maintains inventory levels and fulfills requisitions in a timely manner.
• Maintains a safe work environment and adheres to regulatory standards.
