UK Healthcare is seeking a Central Sterile Tech to operate as a key member of the Perioperative Services team in Lexington, KY. You will assemble and process surgical instrument trays and decontaminate used instruments to support infection control.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of aseptic techniques, sterilization methods, and universal precautions. CRCST certification is preferred; non-certified hires may advance to certified after 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• HS required.
• 2 yrs related experience.
• CRCST certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assemble and process surgical instrument trays.
• Decontaminate used instruments to prevent infections.
• Answer unit phone calls and respond to OR requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of the department/workstation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
