Job summary

Heritage Valley Sewickley is seeking a Central Sterile Processing Tech to decontaminate and reprocess sterilized supplies, while ensuring safe handling of patient care equipment. You will support the CSP department in maintaining readiness and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must pass a nationally accredited central service exam for CSP and maintain certification.
• CSP technicians have 18 months from date of hire to pass a nationally accredited central service exam.
• Must complete 10 hours of continuing education annually.
• Successful completion of applicable clearances within 90 days of commencing employment.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminates and reprocesses all in-house prepared sterile supplies.
• Issues, tracks, decontaminates, maintains, transports various types of patient care equipment to provide Quality Patient Care.
