Qualifications

• Sterile Processing Tech Certification – IAHCSMM or CBSPD.
• High School Diploma.
• 2 years of experience as a sterile processing tech.
• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform simple math.
• Physical ability to lift 25+ pounds and push/pull carts.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination, cleaning, processing, and sterilization of supplies and equipment.
• Prepare and manage service line sets, communicate status to customers.
• Review schedules in Cerner and anticipate next-day surgery needs.
• Maintain personal productivity at ~95%.
