Job summary

Gritman Medical Center is seeking a Central Sterile Supervisor to oversee all reprocessing services under the Surgical Services director. The role ensures compliance with regulatory standards and leads ongoing hiring, training, and staff supervision.

The incumbent will perform instrument processing per standards, supervise autoclave operations, and ensure quality and safety across departments. Managerial experience preferred in a surgical setting.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in a surgical environment preferred.
• Ability to evaluate technical processes and communicate them to staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee reprocessing services and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Hire, train and supervise staff in the Central Sterile department.
• Ensure proper instrument handling, wrapping and tray preparation.
• Maintain room temperatures and humidity logs; report out-of-range readings.
