Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to utilize the instrument tracking system, maintain sterilization standards, and support safe, efficient reprocessing of instruments. The role requires 1+ year of central supply experience and CRCST/CSPDT certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and understand English to perform duties.
• Knowledge of Sterilization Standards and infection control practices.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in central supply or related field.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required; CSIS/CIS/CFER/CHL/CSPM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use instrument tracking system to generate reports and provide quality feedback.
• Attend CE seminars and in-services to stay competent with new equipment and procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure policy compliance and report non-compliance to leadership.
• Identify environmental concerns and report to management; ensure proper instrument reprocessing and safety.
