Required Related Experience 3 yrs

Required License/Registration/Certification CNOR – Certified Nurse Operating Room; CST – Certified Surgical Technologist; CRCST – Certified Registered Central Service Technician; or CIC – Certified in Infection Control required at time of hire.

Physical Requirements This position requires sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; regularly lifting and transporting objects up to 25 lbs; and repetitive motion.

Shift 7a-330p Monday through Friday but may require occasional weekends and nights to cover the educational needs of the department.

Job Summary The Educator for sterile processing and high-level disinfection is responsible for advancing excellence in education, competency management and standardized practice across sterile processing, high-level disinfection and related perioperative services. The role ensures staff competency, regulatory compliance, standardization of practices and continuous quality improvement in alignment with accreditation and professional standards.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Microsoft office (Windows, Excel, PowerPoint), presentation skills, oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Education/Experience Healthcare, Education, Nursing, Public Health or related field. At least 3 years of related work experience are required for this position.
