Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring for a Central Services Tech to manage storeroom functions, receiving and delivering hospital supplies, and processing stock orders. The role supports 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday 3:30 PM–midnight, with alternating weekends.

The Central Services Tech is responsible for the overall function of the storeroom. Receives and delivers all supplies ordered for the hospital. Processes, fills, and delivers all department stock orders. Responsible for sending out repair and return orders.

Requirements:

A. Education

1. High school diploma or GED from an accredited institute

B. Experience

1. Previous experience with storage and distribution of supplies desired
2. Computer skills desired
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills required
4. Ability to handle potential problems and situations in a professional and courteous manner is required
