Description

The Central Services Manager reports to the Director of Lifetime Services and manages the Central Services Team, which includes technical resources such as Field Services, Continuous Improvement, and Training. This team supports the entire Lifetime Services function and contributes to overall LTS growth by delivering sales through its technical teams.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all Central Services operations, including Field Services, Continuous Improvement, and Training.
  • Allocate technical resources effectively to meet service demands internally and externally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to identify and forecast service needs and develop plans to meet them.
  • Develop and manage budgets for the teams, and prepare regular reports.
  • Partner with the Technical Sales team to develop and deliver targeted sales campaigns.
  • Track and analyze KPIs to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Manage escalation of operational issues to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Several years of experience in engineering management or resource planning roles.
  • Up to 50% domestic and international travel.
Skills & Abilities
  • Experience in the material-handling industry with technical knowledge of automation equipment preferred.
  • Support experience in technical sales preferred.
  • Project and cost management experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work at a desk for prolonged periods.
  • Frequent site visits and safe movement in industrial environments.
  • Lift and carry supplies up to 25 pounds.
  • Operate electronic devices.
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Tolerate temperature fluctuations at job sites.
