Job description

Description

In this position, you will perform duties as a Central Service Technician (CST), which includes distribution of supplies and equipment within UCLA Health System. This support role aids patient care. Responsibilities include placing orders to replenish inventory, assessing inventory levels, receiving and transporting supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, reconciling packing slips, and restocking supply areas. You will also manage par levels, follow up on vendor orders, and maintain barcode labels.

Salary Range

$25.06/hr

Qualifications
  • Ability to push and pull up to 150 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to comply with healthcare infection control regulations, including masking.
  • Self-motivated with effective time management, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work positively and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to workload, schedules, and shifts, including weekends.
  • Organized in maintaining HR online competency requirements on policy and safety.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment and report unsafe conditions.
  • High proficiency in English for verbal and electronic communication.
  • Ability to handle clinical interruptions and supply requests efficiently.
  • Participate in Quality Management and adhere to UCLA policies and procedures.
  • Attend all required workshops, classes, and drills.
