Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current IAHCSMM or CBSPD certification required.
• Minimum 3 years in Central Service, Sterile Processing, or OR environment preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to use electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Check students’ daily attendance and report to Registrar’s Office.
• Supervise students in the Central Supply Department.
• Prepare written and practical exams; grade and record tests.
• Develop structured schedules to involve full class participation.
• Counsel students as necessary.
• Coordinate with Didactics in evaluating student performance.
• Train students and maintain records for filing.
• Communicate student progress at staff meetings.
• Review sterilization standards with students before externships.
