Job summary

Vance-Granville Community College seeks a Central Sterile Processing Technician Instructor to organize, plan, and develop sound instructional experiences that support student success. The instructor will respond to student needs and facilitate effective instructional activities, with reasonable accommodations provided as needed.

The role requires learner-centered lesson planning, varied instructional strategies (including lab experiences), and ongoing assessments.

• Participate in professional development activities to maintain currency in the field as well as credentials/licensures as required by the program guidelines.

Education and Experience Required

• Certification as a Central Sterile Technician

Education and Experience Preferred

• Minimum two years of experience working as a Central Sterile Technician
• Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
• Prior teaching experience

• Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
