Qualifications

• Two years of healthcare experience in PAS, Scheduling or PFS preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding.
• Certified Medical Coder or at least one year physician coding preferred.
• Strong verbal communication with staff and hospital personnel.
• Computer skills and Excel for spreadsheets.
• Willingness to be cross trained in other areas.
• Commitment to compliance and Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Performs central scheduling for outpatient services in TX/OK region.
• Registers patients and verifies insurance benefits.
• Handles a high volume of inbound scheduling calls.
• Works Monday–Friday with possible after-hours/weekend assignments.
