Job summary

HUMBLE VASCULAR SURGICAL CENTER INC in Park City is seeking a meticulous Central Processing Technician to join our orthopedic surgery team across a busy facility with four operating rooms.

You will decontaminate, assemble, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict documentation per AAMI and AORN standards, with shifts rotating from early morning to evening.

Qualifications

• CRCST certification is required.
• Sterile processing experience, ideally in orthopedic or ambulatory surgery.
• Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection prevention standards.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Team-focused and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, inspect, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays.
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with AAMI and AORN standards.
• Ensure accurate and timely instrument turnover for scheduled surgeries.
• Maintain appropriate inventory and notify leadership of any supply or equipment concerns.
• Communicate effectively with OR staff to meet surgical demands.
• Rotating shifts between 6:00 AM and 8:30 PM.

$24–28/hour pay range DOE and eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus!!

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Central Processing Technician to join our high-performing team at a busy Orthopedic Surgery Center with 4 operating rooms. Our center delivers outstanding patient care in partnership with The Orthopedic Partners, Intermountain Health, and Surgery Partners.

Key Responsibilities
