Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor for Central Processing to lead a growing team on the day shift in Upper Manhattan. The role emphasizes supervision of pre-analytical and post-analytical workflows, ensuring cross-functional coordination and adherence to quality standards.

The position requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, with ASCP or NYS licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of laboratory experience defining pre-analytical and post-analytical processes.
• Documented supervisory experience.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
• MS Office 365: PowerPoint, Excel.
• Knowledge of EMR and laboratory information systems (Epic Beaker).
• Knowledge of data analytics tools Tableau and Power BI.
• ASCP Certification or NYS Licensure for Clinical Laboratory Medicine.
