Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field including two (2) years managerial experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Provides guidance for the intermediate to complex operations of a facility or unit based on established policies and procedures.
Facilities Management, Central Plant, seeks a supervisor to lead global operations and daily central plant activities, overseeing high- and low-pressure heating, cooling, and power plant systems to ensure safe, efficient, continuous, and reliable operations.
Monday-Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm and will need to be available to direct activities as required for night and weekend and emergency response including nights, weekends, and holidays.
This position is based at ASU’s Tempe Campus but will require working at other campuses.
$82,000 - $85,000 per year commensurate of experience and education. ASU offers a comprehensive benefits package with the State of Arizona.

This position is based at ASU’s Tempe Campus but will require working at other campuses.
Must possess EPA/CFC refrigerant certification and EPA 608 Universal certification, or be able to obtain within six months of employment.
Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment respiratory clearance questionnaire and respirator fit test as a condition of employment. A baseline audiogram will also be completed within the first month of employment.
Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license (minimum of Class D) upon employment and maintain throughout employment. Post-offer of employment, selected candidate must possess an acceptable driving record which is 5 or fewer points in the most recent 39 month period from date of hire.
This position requires working a rotating on-call/stand-by schedule and may be called in for emergency response including nights, weekends, and holidays.
This position may require driving. Employee must possess a valid US Driver’s license of the appropriate class and required endorsements throughout employment.
