Job summary

Mohegan Sun is seeking a skilled Stationary Engineer to operate and maintain the central plant, boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems. This role requires reading blueprints and piping diagrams, performing preventive maintenance, and quickly troubleshooting equipment issues in a large facility.

• Four years experience in a large boiler plant over 1,000 BHP and 3,600 tons of air‑conditioning.
• Active CT Occupational License OE‑2/S‑2/S‑1 required and EPA Refrigerant Recovery Cert.
• Able to read blueprints, piping diagrams and schematics for repairs.
• Must respond to situations with initiative and operate safely.

Responsibilities

• Operates, maintains and repairs steam boilers, chillers and HVAC systems in the central plant.
• Ensures timely repairs and maintains preventive maintenance records.
• Reads blueprints and diagrams to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Contributes to housekeeping and supports other service work as needed.
