Job summary

200_Mohegan_Sun Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority - Mohegan Sun is seeking a Stationary Engineer responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of steam boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems across the facility.

This role requires a minimum of four years of experience, an active Connecticut Occupational License, and proof of various certifications. The position demands proficiency in working from technical schematics and the ability to handle various operating situations independently.

Qualifications

• Four years experience as a Stationary Engineer or central plant operator in a large boiler plant.
• Must be able to read, troubleshoot and work from blueprints, piping diagrams and schematics.
• Must show initiative and respond to various situations without direction.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the timely repair and maintenance of all related systems.
• Assists with preventative maintenance records for all equipment.
• Accomplishes other service work as directed.

Skills

Sound working knowledge of occupational hazards and safety requirements

Good written and verbal communication skills

Education

Active OE‑2, S‑2 or S‑1 State of Connecticut Occupational License

Minimum Type 1 and 2 EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification
