Position Overview: Maintains the integrity of continuous monitoring as a remote video monitor and cardiac rhythm technician. Provides constant, real-time video and cardiac rhythm monitoring for patients requiring this medical surveillance. Oversees cardiac rhythm monitoring, including dysrhythmia interpretation, under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
Qualifications: High school diploma required. Previous hospital experience preferred. National Telemetry Certification through the National Telemetry Association strongly preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required within six months of hire.
