Job summary

Constellium in Ravenswood, WV, seeks a Central Maintenance Manager to oversee day-to-day maintenance in the central departments, lead preventive maintenance, and drive safety and reliability across operations.

You will manage the budget, plan outages, and lead engineers and technicians to ensure on-schedule start-ups while maintaining OSHA-compliant safety practices. ABET‑accredited degree and 8–10 years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline from an ABET-accredited program.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in maintenance or industrial settings.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing in a specific discipline.

Responsibilities

• Leading by example and enforce health and safety regulations; maintain safety records and create a safe work environment.
• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations in the Central departments and coordinate with production centers.
• Lead maintenance efforts including preventive maintenance strategies, routine repairs, and breakdown resolution.
• Motivate engineers, maintenance technicians, and supervisors; foster a culture of Safety and Reliability Centered Maintenance.
• Ensure OSHA standards are applied to keep workplaces safe, including hazard communication, PPE, fall protection, electrical safety, machine guarding, and emergency procedures.
• Develop and maintain the maintenance budget and control costs; ensure critical spare parts availability.
• Plan, lead and execute multiple plant outages; adhere to start-up schedules and budgets.
• Set up and track KPIs to drive results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline from an ABET-accredited program, required, (relevant hands-on experience that demonstrate skills could be considered)
• 8 to 10 years of experience

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical systems, as well as experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) software.
• Extensive hands-on experience and trouble shooting in a relevant maintenance or industrial setting
