Job summary

Constellium Ravenswood, a major aluminum manufacturing facility in Ravenswood, WV, seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead maintenance and equipment reliability initiatives. You will generate and manage technical documentation, support operations, and drive process improvements for production equipment.

This role is an individual contributor with no direct reports, requiring hands-on troubleshooting, CMMS/SAP usage, and collaboration with maintenance teams on Capex projects and biannual

Job Summary:

This position is an individual contributor role, with no direct reports. Primary responsibility is the generation and management of support systems for manufacturing equipment and processes: documentation of technical intellectual property, technical support for ongoing maintenance and production operations, and implementation of equipment and process improvement plans.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field required
• Five to eight years of mechanical (maintenance) engineering experience required
• AutoCad experience required
• Experience with Cranes, Hydraulics, Pumps, and other Rotating Equipment required
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement solutions
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Metals
• Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably SAP
• Possess the fundamentals of equipment reliability
• Understanding of Root Cause Analysis
