RosmanSearch, Inc. is assisting a well-established health system in Central Indiana in recruiting a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join its GI Hospitalist team.

The incoming physician will join an established Gastroenterology group of four Gastroenterologists and two Nurse Practitioners and share inpatient GI consults and procedures at a 204-bed hospital. The position offers a dedicated inpatient focus with a 1 week on / 1 week off schedule, access to EUS/ERCPs as helpful but not required, and

Qualifications

• BC/BE Gastroenterologist licensed to practice in the US or eligible.
• Experience with inpatient GI consults and procedures preferred.
• Inpatient endoscopy experience desired; EUS/ERCP helpful but not required.

Responsabilités

• Manage adult inpatient GI consults and procedures.
• Perform inpatient upper and lower endoscopy as part of GI hospitalist duties.
• Assist in enteral access and GI emergency management including bleeds and obstructions.

PRACTICE OVERVIEW

A well-established health system in Central Indiana is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join its GI Hospitalist team. The incoming physician will join an established Gastroenterology group consisting of four Gastroenterologists and two Nurse Practitioners.

This is a dedicated inpatient opportunity offering a 1 week on / 1 week off schedule and a broad range of inpatient GI consultative and procedural responsibilities.

PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTS

• Dedicated GI Hospitalist position
• 1 week on / 1 week off schedule
• Adult inpatient consult service
• Join an established team of 4 Gastroenterologists and 2 Nurse Practitioners
• Perform inpatient upper and lower endoscopy
• Outpatient scope access available
• Enteral access procedures
• Management of GI emergencies including variceal and ulcer bleeds, food impactions, and volvulus
• EUS and ERCP skills are helpful but not required
