Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or a related field; recent graduates with strong internship experience will also be considered.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, lookups, and financial modeling.
  • Experience with ERP, accounting, reporting, or business intelligence systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and roll forward the company’s monthly Financial Reporting Package, ensuring accuracy and consistency across reporting periods.
  • Prepare the monthly and quarterly financial reporting package delivered to the company’s lender, and support lender-meeting presentation materials as needed.
  • Assist in calculating quarterly leverage and covenant compliance metrics to confirm compliance with credit agreement requirements.
  • Support the quarterly forecast and annual budget process, including loading actuals into forecast models each cycle.
  • Prepare and maintain the 13-week cash flow forecast, including a receipt-timing model and all cash disbursements, and update the daily cash receipt tracker.
  • Consolidate hours, headcount, revenue, and margin-by-customer data to support forecasting models across business lines.
  • Support the weekly company-wide flash reporting process for revenue and EBITDA projections.
  • Own and maintain the company’s capital expenditure (CapEx), fleet/equipment, union, and labor productivity dashboards.
  • Prepare the dashboards section of the internal monthly management reporting package.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Central Financial Analyst to support company-wide financial planning, analysis, reporting, and decision-making. Reporting to the Senior Director, FP&A, this role will work closely with leadership and operational teams to provide financial insight, improve reporting accuracy, monitor business performance, and support strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience with job costing, project financial analysis, fleet costs, or operational finance preferred.
