Actalent is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support a high-volume central fill pharmacy in Everett, WA. Under a Pharmacist, you will fill prescriptions, prepare medications, and maintain workflow to meet daily production goals.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, performing manual fills, scanner checks, and cold chain handling while ensuring patient safety and HIPAA compliance. License and certification are required, with potential for growth within the healthcare supply chain.

Qualifications

• Active WA State Pharmacy Technician License is required.
• National pharmacy technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required to work longer than six months.
• 0–1 year of experience in a high-volume pharmacy production environment.
• Experience with prescription refill processes and pharmacy support functions.
• Ability to perform accurate data entry and use computer screens.

Responsibilities

• Manually fill prescription vials according to procedures and safety standards.
• Read screens to locate medications and verify drug, size, and strength.
• Perform basic calculations to count units for prescriptions.
• Replenish medications in automated dispensing cells to full capacity.
• Use handheld scanners to scan barcodes and enter expiration dates and lot numbers.
• Maintain accuracy and prevent cross contamination; perform QA checks.
