Qualifications

Pharmacy Technician License is required and a National Certificate through PTCB or ExCPT is required.
Pharmacy Technician License and PTCB/ExCPT certification are required for this role.

Responsibilities

Manually fill prescription vials with prescribed tablets and capsules, reading screens to locate items and verifying size and strength.
Replenish medication in automated dispensing cells to full capacity and scan barcodes, recording expiration and lot information.
Prepare cold chain and specialty prescriptions following handling requirements.
Assist with packing and shipping of prescriptions while complying with HIPAA.
Complete weekly cycle counts and assist with inventory discrepancy investigations.
Demonstrate problem-resolution skills and escalate issues as needed.
