Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for an automated central fill facility in Plainfield, IN. The role supports filling prescriptions, replenishing automated stations, packaging medications, stocking completed packages, and ensuring accurate, safe fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory systems, calibrating machines, and using scanners to manage medication data and distributions. Experience in central fill or fulfillment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Meets state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Active registration in Indiana or Minnesota.
• Experience in a pharmacy or fulfillment environment.
• Proficiency with computers and scanners for inventory management and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pharmacy systems and technology, including inventory systems and automated counting machines.
• Monitor inventory levels and expiration dates for pharmaceuticals and calibrate machines.
• Ensure medications are replenished using computers and scanners in production.
• Maintain and track medication inventory by sorting, placing, and storing freight.
• Rotate stock using FIFO and perform cycle counts and inventory reports.
• Audit and test pill cell performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Enter expiration dates and lot numbers, label prescriptions, and weigh medications.
• Prepare packages and distribute medications in a fast-paced production environment.

Education
