DNOW is seeking a highly motivated Central Engineering Team Manager in Austin, TX to lead and develop the central engineering group. The role focuses on facility design, new product development, and ongoing improvements, collaborating with sales, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver innovative, cost-efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering; 7+ years engineering experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven experience in facility design, product development, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Allocate resources and assign projects to ensure optimal team performance within Engineering & Design.
• Oversee design and development of new Facility Designs and Product offerings, ensuring quality, cost, and timeline objectives.
• Support implementation of new technologies and integration of multiple business unit offerings.
• Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
• Identify and execute improvements on current products to enhance performance and cost-efficiency.
• Meet with customers to present solutions and translate feedback into actionable engineering changes.
