New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. (NHBB) in Los Angeles area is seeking an experienced through-feed centerless grinder operator to manufacture precision bearing components per drawings and quality standards.

The role requires setting up grinders, maintaining thru-feed rate, balancing wheels, and training operators. Candidates should have HS Diploma and 3+ years’ setup experience, with strong GD&T knowledge and an eye for precision.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands-on centerless grinding setup experience; thru-feed grinding required.
• Proven ability to hand-feed a continuous column of parts at a constant thru-feed rate with no separation and without over-pushing.
• Ability to diagnose and correct through-feed geometry, surface, and feeding problems.

Responsabilités

• Set up thru-feed centerless grinders on short or long runs to size, roundness and finish per drawings.
• Push parts into grinder at a steady rate to maintain constant thru-feed; keep end-to-end without gaps.
• Mount, balance and dress grinding wheels; replace worn tooling and adjust machines as needed.
• Train operators on machine operation, gauging and wheel changes.
• Maintain records and follow safety rules (OSHA).
