Job summary

This role requires attention to detail, safe operation practices, and the ability to work independently within a team while meeting customer specifications. Overtime may be required weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with related training/experience.
• Able to read safety rules, procedures and schedules.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate centerless grinders and monitor multiple machines.
• Read routers, production schedules, and specifications for dimensions and tolerances.
• Inspect products using micrometers, air gauges, and digital indicators.
• Document measurements and production data in logs/computer systems.
• Monitor scrap and nonconforming parts to identify root causes.
• Maintain safety and environmental health policies; follow TPMs.
