LeoForce in Orange, CA seeks an experienced Grinder to set up and operate centerless grinding equipment for aerospace components. The role requires precise blueprint reading and use of measuring tools to ensure parts meet strict specifications.

The position offers day and evening shifts, overtime with weekend work, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, 401(k), and pension options.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and setup of centerless grinding equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Knowledge of SPC and quality control processes.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate centerless grinding machines in manual and automatic environments.
• Install grinding wheels, blades, and tooling as required.
• Perform wheel dressing and machine adjustments to optimize quality and efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections with precision measuring equipment.
• Monitor production quality and adjust machines as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and proper records.
• Collaborate with quality, production, and engineering teams to meet customer requirements.
