Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in San Antonio, TX seeks a Center Manager to oversee production-area staff and ensure smooth operations at a plasma donation center.

The role reports to the Center Manager and focuses on performance management, scheduling, inventory control, and donor relations while resolving issues and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Ability to bend/reach, walk and stand for entire shift, lift to 32 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment from a distance.
• Prolonged glove wear required due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

About the Role

• Lead Inventory Control efforts and lead operational initiatives
• Work with donors to resolve concerns
• Analyze opportunities specific to non-conforming events
• Perform all tasks for Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas
• Foster teamwork, communicate, and resolve conflicts

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
• Ability to perform frequent bending and reaching, walk and stand for entire shift, lift to 32 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds

• Prolonged glove wear required due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens
