Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, LP in Inglewood, CA is opening a new plasma center in November 2026. You will report to the Center Manager and oversee the general management of employees in production areas, ensuring safety, quality, and donor satisfaction.

You will oversee employee performance and scheduling, lead inventory control, and collaborate with donors to resolve concerns. This role also covers Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing tasks with emphasis on teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and AED certification.
• Frequent bending and reaching.
• Ability to walk and stand for entire shift, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Pro-longed glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

About the role

Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. You will report to the Center Manager and oversee the general management of employees assigned to the production areas. This is a new Plasma Center opening in November 2026. BioLife Plasma Services is a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd.

How you will contribute

• You will oversee employee performance and scheduling
• You will lead Inventory Control efforts and lead in operational efforts
• You will work with donors to resolve concerns
• You will analyze opportunities specific to non-conforming events
• You will perform all tasks for Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas.
• You will foster teamwork, communicate and resolve conflicts.

What you bring to Takeda

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
• Frequent bending and reaching
• Ability to walk and stand for entire shift, frequent lifting to 32 pounds and occasional lifting to 50 pounds
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment from a distance
• Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, pro-longed glove wear is required

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. We are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. For Location: USA - CA - Inglewood. U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $27.60 - $37.95. The estimated hourly wage range reflects an anticipated range for this position.
