The Fresh Market is seeking a Center Store Specialist in Wilmette, IL. You will manage key center store categories—Dairy, Frozen, Bulk, Coffee, Candy, and Beer & Wine—ensuring product freshness, accurate pricing, and compliant merchandising while supporting inventory integrity and guest engagement.

Role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and delivering an exceptional guest experience with strong daily operations support on a fast-paced store floor.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure center store categories meet freshness and quality standards.
• Execute planograms and maintain product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with leadership on ordering and replenishment of dairy, frozen, bulk, coffee, candy, beer and wine.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness; proper receiving and storage.
• Support front-end operations during peak times as cashier or in other areas.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach on the sales floor.
