Ridleys-Family-Markets-Inc is seeking an Assistant Store Director to oversee center store operations, merchandising, and guest relations. The role emphasizes leadership across Grocery, GM, Dairy, Frozen, and related departments, ensuring smooth daily performance and strong team collaboration.

The position requires prior retail management experience, forklift/pallet jack certification, and solid communication skills to drive profitability and high guest satisfaction in a busy market.

Qualifications

• Must have previous retail management experience.
• Certification required for operation of forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Excellent written and spoken communication and guest service focus.
• Strong math skills for inventory, pricing, and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outstanding merchandising, cleanliness, and stock standards in center store departments including Grocery, non-foods, GM, Dairy, Frozen and Hardware.
• Supervise store operations in support of the Store Director and assist in guest relations.
• Lead CGO processes and ensure CGO is fully functioning across center store departments.
• Coach team on merchandising fundamentals and inventory management.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety rules, and regulatory requirements.
• Attend and contribute to weekly management and store meetings; assist in duties of Store Director when needed.
