Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Center Store Specialist to lead excellence across Dairy, Frozen, Bulk, Coffee, Candy, and Beer & Wine categories. You will ensure product freshness, accurate pricing, and compliant merchandising while supporting inventory integrity and guest engagement on the floor.

Your role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and hospitality as you coordinate replenishment, verify deliveries, and assist with front-end operations during peak times.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all Center Store categories meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating and temperature compliance for dairy and frozen items.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of dairy, frozen, bulk, coffee, candy, beer and wine.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Support front-end operations during peak business times as a cashier or in other areas.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor.
