Job summary

Kroger Denver is seeking a store leadership professional to assess and improve merchandising and operations across Center store departments. You will coach associates, teach scheduling, optimize product mix, and partner with Grocery and Drug/GM Merchandisers to align local needs with planograms.

You will lead store visits, train teams on display execution, scheduling accuracy, and seasonal merchandising while upholding our core values of respect, integrity and safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of store leadership experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to take prompt action to accomplish objectives.
• Strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Share merchandising plans with store leadership, associates and field specialist through frequent and timely store visits.
• Instruct and train store associates in the proper use of store’s display space and seasonal merchandising techniques.
• Instruct and train department leaders on writing good schedules and orders and understand consequences of scheduling.
• Instruct and train department leaders in ordering, execution of sales plans, and product mix development to drive sales and growth.
• Ensure proper handling, receiving, storing, pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise at store level.
• Execute merchandising and operational plans per division directives and monitor inventory impact.
• Collaborate with department leaders and district managers to meet shrink goals.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policy; adhere to division standards across departments.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation best practices.
• Promote safety and a zero-accident culture among store staff.
