Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate (Required) or Equivalent (GED).
• 0-2 years retail experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and bookkeeping skills.
• Good organization, prioritization, decision-making, problem solving and conflict management skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with capability to work in a hands-on environment.
• Good strategic planning and business acumen skills.
• Good knowledge of retail store operations; knowledge of retail management systems.
• Suggestive Selling/Knowledge of Products preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Depending on company location, ability to communicate in Spanish is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Order and maintain inventory in your department, including markdown procedures to minimize loss.
• Review and validate received orders for amount, quality, count or weight, and condition.
• Lead a team that handles stocking, production, and related tasks to ensure quality and rotations.
• Maintain familiarity with products and store operations.
• Know ad items, special prices, coupon deals, and store rewards programs.
• Communicate and execute weekly Flight Plans to meet expectations and timelines.
• Support scheduling, labor control, overtime control, and payroll expense in the department.
• Implement Winning Recipe and uphold company values and competencies.
• Assist department manager with staffing, training, performance management, and career development.
• Develop and monitor department goals and forecasts.
• Attend daily huddles and meetings as required.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked department per Prime Time standards.
• Follow all PPE, safety, food safety, and cleaning expectations.
• Be prepared to work in other departments per customer needs.
