Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions, LLC seeks a Center Safety and Security Supervisor for the Job Corps facility in Gulfport, Mississippi. You will lead the safety, security and transportation teams, manage staff schedules, and ensure compliance with government and campus policies.

The role requires a minimum of an associate degree (or higher) with four years of related experience and at least one year in supervision.

Qualifications

Associate degree in related field.
Four (4) years of related experience.
One (1) year supervisory experience.
Background check and drug test required on the contract.
Current, valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and direct administrative activities of the safety, security and transportation department.
Oversee management of Center security transportation including staff scheduling.
Develop and revise policies affecting the transportation/security department and Center Safety Programs.
Maintain safety inspections and OSH plans; liaison with insurers.
Coordinate, conduct, and document safety inspections on center.
Serve as Safety Officer and advisor on Career Technical Skills Training committee.
Promote safety and security practices among staff and students.
Perform other duties as assigned.
