Job summary

Qualifications

• Mandatory: Associate degree in related field and four years of related experience.
• One year supervisory experience required.
• Must pass background check and drug test; valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct administrative activities of the safety, security and transportation department.
• Oversee management of Center security transportation including staff scheduling.
• Develop and revise policies for the transportation/security department and Center Safety Programs; mentor students and monitor skill acquisition.
• Review policies; ensure compliance with policy and legislation.
• Manage the work-based program for Security; provide student coverage as needed.
• Manage the center’s GSA vehicle fleet and serve as primary Safety Officer.
• Coordinate and document all safety inspections; develop OSH plans and risk assessments.
• Serve as liaison with insurers and law enforcement; maintain incident reports and accident documentation.
• Promote a harassment-free center climate and safe environment for staff and students.
