Job summary

Vitalant is seeking a Center Operations Technician at PlasmaSource in Aurora, IL to support the phlebotomy floor and blood product processing. You will assist Blood Collections Specialists and donors while maintaining inventory and ensuring smooth post-collection processing.

This role offers a base pay range and a comprehensive benefits package, with opportunities to advance in a vital non-profit network focused on blood safety and donor service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Associate’s degree in biology, medical technology, supply chain management, or related field; or equivalent education/experience required.
• Valid in state driver’s license required.
• Previous experience in blood banking, medical laboratory, or healthcare warehouse preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, AABB, cGMP) strongly preferred.

Job Description:

PlasmaSource, a subsidiary of Vitalant, is seeking a Center Operations Technician to support in caring for patients through donor engagement.

In this role, you will support the Operations side of the center. You will support Blood Collections Specialist and Donors assisting with donor needs and processing blood products post collection.

What to Expect:

Base Pay: $18.08- $23.41 (depending on years of experience)

Location: Aurora IL

Schedule: Center hours: Monday - Sunday. FT 40 hours/week. Rotates e/o W/E.
