Job summary

Giving Home Health Care is seeking a CoE Coordinator in Las Vegas, NV to coordinate medical records, impairment rating processes and communications with ARs and IR physicians. You will ensure timely documentation, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and support COE initiatives across locations.

The role emphasizes patient education, accurate record-keeping and adherence to HIPAA and DOL procedures, with opportunities to improve care coordination for beneficiaries of the DEEOIC program.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of healthcare experience with EMRs and ability to interpret medical content.
  • Experience coordinating with Authorized Representatives, IR Physicians or stakeholders preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software required.

Responsibilities

  • Medical Records and Testing Coordination: initiate medical record requests, review records and coordinate testing orders.
  • Authorized Representative and IR Physician Communication: compile packets for impairment rating appointments and submit promptly.
  • Educating Patients on Impairment Rating Appointments: inform patients of schedules, provide reminders and guidance.
  • Documentation and Record‑Keeping: maintain accurate patient interaction records and monitor progress.
  • Center of Excellence participation: attend meetings and provide support across locations.
  • Customer Service and Advocacy: deliver excellent service, manage DOL correspondences and protect patient information.
  • Coordination with Stakeholders: work with internal staff, ARs and external facilities to maximize outcomes.

The CoE Coordinator integrates responsibilities within the patient development process, focusing on the efficient handling of medical records, timely completion of impairment ratings, and seamless coordination with stakeholders. This role plays a pivotal part in coordinating communication with Authorized Representatives (ARs), IR Physicians, and all stakeholders, ensuring seamless service coordination and advocacy for patient benefits.

This is an onsite role located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Responsibilities
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • 1. Medical Records and Testing Coordination: Initiate medical record requests, review and analyze records, coordinate testing orders from relevant providers.
  • 2. Authorized Representative and IR Physician Communication: Compile documentation packets for impairment rating appointments, submit packets promptly to authorized representatives and IR physicians.
  • 3. Educating Patients on Impairment Rating Appointments: Inform patients of scheduled impairment ratings, provide reminders, educate on interview content, and facilitate support as needed.
  • 4. Documentation and Record‑Keeping: Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, services provided, and outcomes; track IR progress and monitor AR trackers.
  • 5. Center of Excellence (COE) Participation: Attend COE meetings, contribute insights and ideas, and provide comprehensive support to all locations.
  • 6. Customer Service and Advocacy: Provide exceptional customer service, manage DOL correspondences promptly, safeguard HIPAA‑compliant patient information.
  • 7. Coordination with Stakeholders: Coordinate effectively with internal staff, ARs, and external medical facilities, assisting patients and stakeholders to maximize outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health or related field preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of healthcare experience, proficiency in EMRs, and ability to interpret medical content.
  • Familiarity with the Department of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC) program preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software required.
