Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking a Center Director to lead the daily operations of our early childhood education center. You will supervise teachers and staff, build strong family relationships, and drive enrollment while upholding licensing and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in childcare center management or leadership, with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; experience in childcare and staff development is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of childcare center management or people leadership experience required; 2+ years preferred
• Experience in childcare, preschool, daycare, or early childhood education
• Must meet state Director/Administrator requirements
• Knowledge of childcare licensing, health, safety, and classroom standards
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing employees
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Must meet background screening, health, and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead the center and day-to-day operations, ensuring a safe, compliant environment
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain qualified teachers and staff
• Build relationships with families and communities to grow enrollment
• Monitor center performance, budgets, and licensing requirements
• Coach staff and maintain clear expectations with regular feedback
• Represent The Learning Experience in the community and drive brand quality
