Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Edison Park, IL is seeking a Center Director to lead daily operations, partner with teachers and families, and provide a warm, safe home away from home for children in our care.

You will recruit and develop staff, manage policies, payroll, accounts, licensing compliance, and parent communications, while delivering outstanding service and guiding the center toward its growth goals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• 5+ years of child care or teaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to supervise others.
• Ability to build relationships with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operation of the center including recruitment and development of staff, management of policies and procedures, child safety, environmental health/hygiene, and state licensing.
• Ensure that all staff understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.
• Manage administrative tasks such as processing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general communications.
• Understand and enforce all state regulations within the building.
• Implement and ensure completion of training for all staff members.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
